This image of a pink tulip was taken during a visit to the
New York Botanical Gardens. It was a
wet and overcast day, however these conditions proved to be perfect for
capturing images of the flowers within the gardens.
To produce this image I used my 70-200L, with the aperture set at F/4.0
and the lens zoomed to 100mm I was able to focus perfectly on the front
tulip and create a nice background blur (aka
bokeh). I
especially liked the beads of rain that still remained on this flower.
